It’s designed for divers who love the ocean but don’t have access to a 3D printer.
I’m offering this print as a service, not for profit — to help more people enjoy the design and support my small creative project.

🪩 Design Features
Slower sinking speed (~0.5 ft/s) – easy to track and retrieve.
Self-spinning motion – mimics natural baitfish movement to attract fish.
High sunlight reflection – best results with rainbow, silver, or gold PLA Silk.
🔬 Tested Performance
Pool Test: Fresh water, 8ft depth, 80°F → average sink time ≈ 25 sec.
Estimated Ocean Test: Pacific, ~34.5% salinity, 68°F → ~45 sec at 18ft depth.
This slower descent gives spearos more time to intercept and reuse the flasher safely.
🌱 About the Material
Printed with PLA (Polylactic Acid) — a bioplastic made from renewable resources (like corn starch).
It’s more ocean-friendly than PVC or ABS:
Compostable under industrial conditions.
Less persistent in marine environments.
