PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Oama is AquaJoy’s entry-level reef flasher, designed for beginner spearos hunting shallow reefs and nearshore waters. Its compact size, simple setup, and controlled descent offer an approachable introduction to using flashers.

Rather than emphasizing aggressive rotation or high-frequency bluewater flash, Oama focuses on a smaller profile, subtle movement, and natural reflection. Its slower descent is designed to keep it visible near the hunting zone longer, providing a gentle visual stimulus for nearby reef fish.

A straightforward starting point in the AquaJoy lineup—built around shallow-water use rather than the speed demands of deep-water hunting.

Field-tested in Southern California waters at approximately 32–34.5 ppt salinity and 58°F. Descent rates are provided for reference only and may vary with water temperature, salinity, currents, rigging, and tail weight.

DYNAMIC COLOR SHIFT

Oama’s raw-color body produces subtle, natural reflection as changing angles redirect light across its surface. This understated visual presentation complements its controlled descent, creating contrast without relying on an intense reflective-sticker flash.

The integrated mounting hole supports optional attachments and different rigging configurations:

Use Oama without a tail for a minimal profile, or attach a DragonTail for an extended visual presence.

Made with AquaJoy’s plant-based PLA material system, Oama produces its natural reflective effect directly from the raw-color body—without paint, applied coatings, or reflective stickers.

Its simple construction keeps the focus on a compact profile, subtle reflection, and controlled reef presentation.

CARE

Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after every dive. Allow to dry completely in the shade. Avoid prolonged heat and direct sunlight during storage.
